I've mainly read negative reviews about My Heritage. Does anybody hear have any personal experience with this particular website for genealogical research? Any help would be appreciated.
I mainly used ancestry but a few weeks ago I uploaded a tree to myheritage. I was very surprised that so many people on myheritage with similar relatives reached out to me wanting to exchange info and photos. I have used ancestry probably since it started and have only connected with maybe three primos at the most.
Myheritage is useless for research of Mexican ancestry. It is however an option for finding other people researching the same families just as any other genealogy website.
If you want to find other people researching lines that you are researching you should have your tree on all free genealogy websites such as the following -

www.geneanet.org (used by many members here)
www.mundia.com
www.genoom.com
I have met other people researching some of the same lines through all of the above sites.
