I realize, during the brief time it has been redirected to Google, just how much I have come to rely on on the Dispensas website to augment and expand my genealogical research. As a long-time genealogist and historian, my relatively-recent research in Jalisco during the past eight months has been made immeasurably easier by the wonderful resource that is the Dispensas.
I realize, further, that I have not yet taken the time to say a hearty "Thank you" to Claudia and all the others who have posted to the site. Too often, we take for granted what we do not realize is valuable until it is no longer available (think 'Old Search' on FamilySearch.org, which will eventually go away).
So kindly allow me to say again: "Thank you for the invaluable Guadalajara Dispensas website."

I had reached a wall with my Mejia line from Nochistlan, Zacatecas, but thanks to the Guadalajara marriage dispensas I found the marriage record of my 4th great grandfather, Florentino de Jesus Mexia and Maria de los Angeles Borrallo. Providing names and clues of several of my 5th, 6th and 7th great grand parents.
