I am trying to find the parents of Teresa Carlos de Godoy married to Alejandro Fernandez. She says her father in Antonio Carlos de Godoy and grandfather is Joseph Carlos de Godoy. I have another Teresa Carlos de Godoy in the same time period who is married to Pedro Joseph Contreras. This Teresa is daughter of Antonio Carlos de Godoy and Catalina Sid Caldera.. Could they be the same Teresa?

yes i'm pretty sure teresa is a daughter of catalina cid caldera(unless it turns out he married twice)
i don't know if the teresa who married pedro jose contreras is the same one who married alejandro fernandez since i can't find a marriage record for either couple.
i do know that teresa and alejandro had at least three kids together: celedonio, gertrudis, and juan. alejandro has a brother named gregorio and a sister named matiana.

thank you for responding. Alejandro and Teresa are my 7th gr-grandparents. My problem with this being the same Teresa is the approximate date of her child with Pedro Joseph Contreras but I sure would love to solve this mystery for me! I have 5 children for Alejandro and Teresa. Felipa married to Cosme Barrios and Pedro married to Cecilia Pinedo. I have my files on Rootsweb.com.

yeah alejandro and teresa are ancestors of mines too. i descend from them through their son celedonio fom his first marriage. celedonio married twice first to marcela pereria(alias castaneda), and then married maria uribe.
also alejandro's parents are sebastian fernandez and cacilda lopez

I also descend from Celedonio Fernandez through his son Agustin Fernandez and his first wife Maria Dolores Sanchez.. looks like we are family. I've also been working with Micaela Gonzales on mutual family lines.

I have the same information. Theresa Carlos de Godoy (dau of Antonio Carlos and Catalina Cid Caldera de Godoy and granddaugther of Juan Carlos de godoy and Maria Rosales) was married to Pedro Joseph Contreras (I don't have the date). But what I know is that they had at least one dau Rosalia Contreras Carlos de Godoy who married Joseph de Olague. Rosalia Contreras and her husband (Joseph de Olague) had at least one dau Salvadora de Olague born in 1731 in Puesto de MOntesillos, Jerez, Zacatecas.

I think I found her. Theresa Carlos de Godoy married Alejandro Fernandez and they had at least one child. Gertrudis Fernandez Carlos de Godoy born in 1704 in Jerez, Zacatecas. This Theresa is the dau of Antonio Carlos de Godoy and Maria Carrillo. Her grandfather was Joseph Carlos de Godoy Rosales (I don't have the name of Joseph's wife). Great grandfather was Juan Carlos de Godoy and Maria Rosales.
