It looks like most Rubios connect back to these guys in la Nueva Galicia. I have several rubios about 5 times. My line ends at Don Diego Rubio de Monrroy of Guadalajara. I only have the marriage date of the IGI. Which is in 1640's. Does anyone else have these ancestors or at least family. Im thinking Diego is a descendant of the conquistador I think its Juan, I have to check with Gary Felix, but the conqus. Rubio de Monrroy son or grandson, who also settled in Guadalajara in the 1570's from la Capital. -Daniel Mendez del Camino
