Avila in Calvillo

By the way, other than my father, I only have his father, José Ávila Álva, and HIS father, Jesús Ávila, married to Concepción Álva, from what I've been told. Jesús was most likely from El Plateado (de General Amaro) in Zacatecas as was my grandfather, José. I do not know beyond that point (guesstimating around 1900-1910) where my Ávila line came from...

I cannot find any info. on him or his ancestors on familysearch so I suppose it's time to start doing the real work at a FHC. I am too new at this and have not started that type of research. If I find any connections in Aguascalientes, I will definitely get with you to compare "notes." Maybe there are some other "Ávilas" out there that can share with us to try to find any connections.
